History
We are excited to introduce Cafe Tana and invite you to enjoy the unique friendly atmosphere in our coffee shop. If you crave great coffee, you’ll love knowing that we provide a real alternative to chains with handcrafted coffee and espresso drinks.
Cafe Tana was established in 2006 as small local coffee houses and sandwich bar. Our Ethiopian coffee beans deliver way beyond the traditional coffee shop favourites. We have traditional breakfast choices, and plenty of healthy options (including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan). Our lunch offerings include a wide variety of salads, sandwiches and flatbreads.

This is truly the best cafe in the area! The food is delicious and well priced, the location is great and above all the staff (and particularly the wonderful owner) are very kind and friendly. It makes such a difference to be well so well looked after - and Hatice has an amazing way of looking after and being friendly with everyone. I visit the cafe often for lunch and to get some work done. Has been great each time.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!! Great food and fantastic service. Full English breakfast - mushrooms were amazing, sausage was amazing and finally a breakfast where we don’t have to ask for extra toast. Cajun chicken on baguette was very good. Highly recommend this place...
